When playing an Internet radio station through a playlist, the media player only shows the static title information defined in the playlist. However I noticed that the title from the stream metadata appears in the properties of pulseaudio’s sink input. So clearly something on the system can decode the title. Is there any way I could get it shown on the media player UI and sent over bluetooth to my car’s media system?

Deadbeef Silica otoh works as expected (Openrepos). I seem to remember it had to be re-compiled against some updated gstreamer components to make this work.
