Is this possible? It would make my life a little easier.
The phone seems to remember my choice, but after (daily) reboot I always have to change it twice, tapping that small button in the top left; and after that I can unlock with fingerprint anyhow.
I had a look at various settings under /usr/share/lipstick/devicelock/ and changed nemo\devicelock\code_input_is_keyboard=false to true.
I also tried to change digitsOnly: true to false in /usr/share/lipstick-security-ui/SecurityCodeDialog.qml.
But after a reboot both dialogs (once for opening encryption, once for unlocking the Home screen) still default to a numerical pin entry.
I don’t dare to try more without a little advice.
