Somehow, when I was setting my phone up and moving things around, I deleted my terminal icon apparently. I can launch it from storeman, but that is the only way.
I thought I would just remove finger terminal and re install but it just hangs on “removing” forever and doesn’t remove the program.
How do I get my icon back?
Thank you in advance!
Maybe you changed the content of /usr/share/applications/fingerterm.desktop
.
Here is the content on my side:
[Desktop Entry]
Type=Application
Name=Terminal
Exec=fingerterm
Icon=icon-launcher-shell
[X-Sailjail]
Sandboxing=Disabled
Thank you. I checked and have the same info.
That is the file I wanted to check, but couldn’t remember the name.
What about turning developer options off an on again?

Do you use folders in your launcher?
Maybe the icon got dropped into a folder inadvertently and that’s the reason you don’t find it?
You could try to rename ~/.config/lipstick
and restart the home screen, this should show all app icons again.
Thanks for the tip!
Developer options were off and when I turned them on the icon appeared again.

It’s normal that the Terminal icon isn’t shown with developer mode off.

Hmmm, I thought I saw it there when I 1st started setting up the phone and then it diappeared. Perhaps I am just mistaken and did not notice it was not there until I needed it.
Either way, it is there now PLUS I learned the work around in the meantime.
Thanks for all the answers and info!
