It lives!
I have a successful installation on my XQ-CC54. I haven’t had time to try very much yet, but both cameras work, sound works including the headphone jack, charging seems to work. Need to try some calls and texts later on when I can move a SIM over.
Lack of AAS means it’s probably not a daily driver yet but it’s already feeling more usable than the “official” release.
It was a bit of a pain to install - the Sailfish part was very easy but the Lineage part has some gotchas. Things I found out: Some of the necessary Lineage version 22 files are only available via archive.org now; they have been deleted from the Lineage website and all of its mirrors despite being less than a year old, and they are not available on the Lineage release archive site. And it’s important that all of the unversioned “.img” files come from the same Lineage 22 release. I need to back those files up so I don’t lose them…
Also important: the archive.org version of the instructions is not correct - if the version of the instructions you are looking at doesn’t contain “fastboot reboot fastboot” and “fastboot flash vendor_boot vendor_boot.img” then they will not work. The latest instructions on lineageos.org appear to be the correct ones.
