Hello, wonder if there’s a way to have last fm on sailfish with the default media player, or is deadbeef my only option?
Thank you
Hello, wonder if there’s a way to have last fm on sailfish with the default media player, or is deadbeef my only option?

I think I used Sailfish Scrobbler | OpenRepos.net — Community Repository System a decade ago, but I have no idea if it’s still installable & working with recent Sailfish versions
Thank you, no it’s not working anymore
Ok, too bad. I can’t find its source available with quick internet search, so direct fixing/rebuilding isn’t apparently possible. There seems to be some straightforward python library available, used by Tiny SailfishOS Scrobbler · GitHub, but it requires user to get own API keys etc.
Tried deadbeef anyway and last fm is not working anymore, shame
armv7hl on xa2, but still
after having a look at deadbeef i don’t think it’s the right player for me
not a fan of endless lists to scroll…
There are two “deadbeef for Silica” released on openrepos: the one by kravich, abandoned some time ago, and the mine. I guess you installed deadbeef by kravich, as I said before, the last version I released on openrepos fixed lastfm bug.
If deadbeef isn’t the right player for you is another question. I think there isn’t any player with lastfm scrobbling support for sailfishos, except deadbeef.
I thought yours was only for aarch64
I will have a look at it
Despite i still think deadbeef is not the player for me, i guess i should thank you cause it’s working, so thank you
QuasarMX supports lastfm integration too and I personally find it a lot nicer to use than deadbeef. It does not have a native Silica UI though.
Tried it, and tapping the last fm button does nothing for me, althought maybe i’m doing something wrong
