The tutorial app is forcefully displayed on first boot.
Maaybe that can be hacked to instead launch another app.
The highlighted box should still be valid afaics.

Well, its less about starting an applications, this can be done with different approaches, its more about the kiosk mode. No swipe from the top, left, right, effectively the app can not be closed. And conceptual, if started in a while loop, restarted if it crashes.
You could use edge swipe patch to prevent side swipes etc…
