Karuselli app cannot be downloaded from Open.Repos via Storeman

Hi,

I want to test the Karuselli app on my Sony Xperia 10 III running SFOS 5.1.0.11 Pispala.

I can install the repository (fravaccaro) and see the app available but then I get the error message “(…) Failed to connect to sailfish.openrepos.net port 443 (…) Could not connect to server”.

Any idea why that may be and has anyone else got that problem?

Anything I can do?

Just tried, and Storeman threw an error like “couldn’t find package” or something like that.
Did a “pkcon refresh” from terminal and tried again, this time successful.

This on a JP2026 / 5.2.0.17, but try again and it should work on your Xperia10 III also?

Thanks, foo, I followed your advice but it didn’t work. I can install the repository favaccaro but when I select Karuselli from its software list I cannot connect to sailfish.openrepos.net as written before.

So, maybe I’ll just wait for my JP26… :star_struck:

Installed on Sony Xperia X with Sailfish OS v4.6.0.15, using StoreMan.

Don’t know why it’s not working for you through Storeman, but you always have the option to download the package directly from OpenRepos and install it.
