i didn’t update my phone for 30 months because of reports about the Bluetooth having issues and i don’t really care as long as Firefox/Whatsapp/phone calls/mails work as intended.
today i went through all the updates seamlessly and every thing seems to function great,even better then before,including Bluetooth.
so Kudos.
i did have to delete and recreate my Gmail account.
Phone:XA2 with stock config.
Did you update from stop release to stop release or straight to the newest?
through the phone’s ‘system update’ GUI.

Bypassing the stop releases (while updating at the CLI) is bound to break the phone fully or partially, causing problems immediately or during the next update.
I think they meant more do you
4.4.x.y -> 4.5.0.12 -> 4.5.0.13
or go straight to .13 from 4.4.
AFAIK the latter is OK but that’s not clear sometimes.
You are right, I should’ve phrased that differently. I didn’t mean to suggest that the latter is an option.
