Self made / combined is at the moment probably only way to get wallet type.
I nade ibe solution, using the transparent tpu which came with phone and okd faithfull tablet case by lastu. Leather necer dies and the glue is flexible can ce dismantled w/o heating.
I attach some pictures, but not the back.. Haha msde wrong cut for camera holes , mirror image, needed to patch. . All tpu is covered with leather at back too anyway.

As I don’t own a J2 yet and have no practical experience with the device, the question I have is:
Is a cover, which always adds some bulk and weight, really necessary, when TOH should be fairly easy and cheap to replace?
Added oricinal magnet to top and screen goes dar/ lights up.
Only bad part is that when flipping to cover to backside, magnet is also sensed.
Back is not the issue. Screen is, depends where/how you carry the phone.
I feel like " naked" when nothing is covering screen.

I ordered a screen protector with the phone. Hope this will protect it from the front?
If screen edges are an issue, maybe there should be a TOH that extends slightly around these?
Had also gorilla glass with phone and installed .
But used to have a cover.

I don’t want to question your judgment.
I’m just trying to be prepared once my device arrives.
If it’s just personal preference then I might be able to get away without a second layer of protection?
But then, I also managed to break several Xperias… 
I’m planning to rawdog the phone as well if you are looking for likeminded 
I can’t stand the feeling, extra bulk and weight of all the extras on top of devices.
30 years without breaking a phone so far!

You know what! I’ve had a wallet protector on all my phones since the JP1, and they are all in close to mint condition because of that. I’ve dropped them on any hard surface you can imagine… wooden floors, concrete, glas tables, granite rocks in Bohuslän, what ever… and still not a scratch on screen or back side.
That is why many of us need a wallet protector. Preferable with the handy magnet lock.

I’ve done everything eson has done except I used the granite of Nyland. I’ve had wallets on Jolla 1, Jolla C and all my Xperias. They were all made by Insmat. Through their feed-back channel I asked for a wallet for J2 but haven’t received an answer yet. Maybe more people could show interest…

Needs hole for finger print / power ( power works with button it came but no fingerprint. Volume ok.
Privacy sw need a cutout and to top one hole .

You should buy a pair of pliers like this if you need to redo the modification again.
Sorry for the Swedish site, but I think you can find them in your country to.
Actually alredy got something better:
Hole punch set.
Not tested yet, but should cover the needs , square holes are a bit difficult with pliers.
