Too bad that I cannot make it to Helsinki (Jolla knows that I gave back my ticket so someone else can have fun instead of myself)
BUT I wish you a great party and a joyfull evening among wonderfull people. ENJOY
(and thank you for the invitation, sailors!)

Ah, it would have been blast to attend! Everyone enjoy the party and post a lot of material out about Jolla phone  I need to see how long it does take for posti to deliver from Salo to Tampere… Can’t wait!

The event kinda slipped my mind. I’ll be on a road trip through Sweden and Norway with a friend during that time. We could detour to be in Helsinki at the given time and date. Question is: Is it possible to attend together with a partner?

Oh and another question: does the event have an age limit/am i able to come with my kid (only i have made the order and have a ticket)?

Don’t think it’s an age limit issue, but ticket number one/venue size, don’t think the tickets were issued for +guest(s), so if you got your kid a ticket/phone they’ll definitely be welcome (at least afaicr it was never advertised as adult only) edit: then again maybe there is some leeway for small kids, no idea, best to wait for @rainemak confirmation, but doubt it

Bingo! Right in front of my booked Hotel. I’m really looking forward to the event. Even though the Danish railway seems to have something against it and has canceled the train to Copenhagen. I’ll just have to leave a little earlier.

That makes sense. The kid is just 5yo. so not in a phone age just yet. Maybe i shouldve mentioned that. I wouldnt mind purchasing extra ticket in case there are vacant seats at the event. I have a friend who would be interested in one too. But I havent seen the tickets for sale except when finalizing my phone order.

I have ordered and already paid for 2 Jolla Phones, one in Batch #1 and a second one in Batch #3 as a gift. Will I be able to collect both of them at the Day 1 event, as I’ll be there?

Please share photos and videos as I cant attend.

I still would watch a Live Stream

Any quick tips / TLDR how Public Transport works?
Afaik use HSL app, Must enter through front door (driver side), While waiting on bus stop - Need to raise arm or wave so bus driver knows to pick you up, when want to leave because it’s your bus stop, need to hit STOP button.

It’s pretty different from what is in Vilnius. HSL app also has some limitations like you can’t paste ion coordinates, also save a location - unable to pin point exact spot, but it’s fairly similar to Trafi

Somewhere they said no +1 or 2. 1 ticket 1 person. Hopefully they will make an exception for a 5 year old not into phones yet. I think there will be a few phone ā€œwidowsā€ wandering around Helsinki on the 8th!

Oh wait you can’t pay with just credit card like in brussels? Shame. At least hopefully hsl app dosn’t require scanning qr codes as XIV/XV users will be out of luck

Yeah, it definitely is no +1 adults, but maybe for carry on kids it doesn’t work like that, no idea

You’ve got everything correct here.
Small addition only. Above rule mentioned is for the blue buses.

If you enter an orange bus (main lines) then you can enter also via the middle door.

IIRC nowadays you can pay with credit card as well!

And the ride time is 80 minutes (If you have travelled 79 minutes and enter another ride you can ride it to the end still).

In the city centre you can just buy ticket in ā€œZone ABā€ which will get you almost everywhere. There will be then message in the metro line atleast which warns you if you’re about to cross zones to C zone.
