Jolla Phone Community Shipping Tracker

You are not trying to send a DM, but trying to chat with them. Instead of doing what ever you tried earlier, click on their username on any of the message sent by them, or mentions of their username in any message (@ followed with Jolla), and it should open a small popup, and with trust level of at least Basic, there should be a “Message”-button. By clicking that button, you can send direct messages to Jolla.

My guess is, that Jolla gets so many of these everyday, that they probably just ignore most of them due to information overload of mention notifications.

My reasoning is as follows: Batches 1 & 2 (~4,800 units) took 10 weeks, which averages out to 480 per week. Following today’s update to the Shipping Tracker, 39% of Batch 3 have received a shipping notification. That amounts to just over 2,000 units, indicating a consistent pace of 470–480 per week. At this same rate, it would take another 6–7 weeks to ship the remaining 3,200 units in Batch 3.

You should use sliding averages, if you are going to use the whole batch 1 in your calculations, or leave it out altogether, since the first month or even longer, Jolla was producing/QAing/mailing the phones at lower rate due to all the staff vacations and the dust issues etc.

Mine already shipped

No, mine started moving a bit faster. In my case, it only stayed in that “waiting” status for about 2.5 working days. I have pasted the first part of the journey below so you can see the exact time stamps.

One difference I see is that I received the shipping notification from Posti very early on a Monday whereas yours was issued in the afternoon on a Friday. That could explain part of the difference. Another factor may be the destination of the package may change the specific route that Posti takes. In my case, the destination was the UK and it got there quite quickly, flying from straight from Helsinki to London. I’ve read other reports of buyers with destinations within Europe that seem to have been by rail or sea and thus Posti took the packages via different routes.

There’s also a chance that Posti just hasn’t scanned your package yet even though it’s actually been picked up. Given all the various possibilities and factors, I personally would not get worried until 7 working days have passed. I definitely understand why you might be anxious about it, especially after waiting so long. I certainly was!! But in my case everything turned out very well with Posti shipping, with a seamless handoff to Royal Mail/Parcelforce in the UK. Now I’m waiting for it to arrive in the US from my forwarder (It’s on a plane to there right now!!) and then it has to make yet another journey to where I live in South America. I’m maintaining faith and a positive attitude. Please hang in there - probability-wise, it is HIGHLY likely that your package will make it home to you just fine. I am wishing a speedy and safe journey for your phone. It’s too early to lose hope just yet. Good luck!!!

Posti Tracking with timestamps. I switched to RM tracking after that as it had more detail within the UK.

My batch 3 was sent from Tampere On the 7.10 and took 8 days to reach Germany (the 15th). It’s in DHLs hands now and is supposed to arrive today.

I send a fair number of packages in Europe (but DHL insured) and I get 3-5 days average. With the plain post 7-14 days is not uncommon. My last plain post to Italy took 14 days.

Wow. As a Sep-ll order, I am doubtful of even recieving this phone in 2026..

Woohoo, I got the tracking e-mail!!!

Batch 3, ordered in Feb 2026 and supposedly arriving on Oct 22 with UPS.

There was a community form to track Jolla orders but I can’t find it anymore. I would like to update the status of my order there.

Maybe read my comment again?
If the speed is as suggested, you will receive your order in November?
:man_shrugging:

I do not see how a sliding average makes the calculation more accurate, given that there are bottlenecks in the supply chain preventing shipments from exceeding 500 units per week; even after 14 weeks, there has been no increase in weekly shipments.

As @Bert-22 said, it’s at the top of this topic. But I’ll link it for you here as well.

I suppose you must have more knowledge of the Jolla supply chain and shipment, given your comment;

However, in the Community News of 8 October, the aim was still 20th October.

The shipping pace contradicts that forecast. That’s exactly what I’m trying to explain—something is preventing them from reaching the goal, and my assumption is that the issue lies somewhere in the supply chain.
Admittedly, there has been some movement over the last 24 hours; as of right now, 43% of those in Batch 3 have received their shipping notification. However, with only 4 days left until October 20th, I think it’s unlikely that the remaining 57% (nearly 3,000 units) will receive their shipping notifications by then.

The order numbers do not give strong support to your hypothesis of 3000 units still to go in batch 3. The entire batch 3 is covered by about 6000 pre-order numbers (which makes sense, as there are also other orders besides phones in the same numbering sequence) and they have by now worked from start of batch 3 at 92xx to 134xx, with the batch ending at pre-order number 151xx.

As I mentioned in my first post, my back-of-the-envelope calculations are based on the assumption that those who have registered on the Skipping Tracker are representative of the entire Batch3. That may not be the case, but a random sample of almost 5% is usually significant for the entire group. Another factor that adds uncertainty is whether there are many cancellations, which could mean that order numbers are cleared faster.

The fact remains that, among the (currently 245) individuals in batch3 who have registered on the tracker, 43% have received a shipping notification after one month, while 57% are still waiting—with four days left until October 20th.

Instead of twisting yourself into knots regarding your—apparently completely unfounded—statements and yet trying to persist in them, you had better keep quiet on this subject.

Just wait it out—like the rest of us!
