Alpha Software Release: For Developers

This first software release has been tailored for developers. It’s designed for those eager to explore the possibilities, contribute feedback, and dive deep into the technical aspects of Mind2. If you’re a skilled Linux user comfortable with Terminal/CLI, here’s what you can expect:

  • Basic functionality to get you started, as detailed in our Discord community channel.
  • Immediate Over-the-Air (OTA) updates will bring new features and improvements. These updates will require manual installation via CLI, and we’ll provide step-by-step instructions.
  • Community support: Our Discord channel is the hub for sharing knowledge, asking questions, and connecting with fellow early adopters.

Prefer to Wait for a More Polished Experience?

If you prefer a more polished functionality and easier setup experience with UI-based updates, that’s okay! We’re hard at work improving the software and streamlining the update process for a broader audience, which is planned for SW release shipping 1-2 weeks later.

no, please don’t. the forum doesn’t need another thread about what jolla is doing wrong, why buyers are stupid and so on.

I don’t need to justify any comment I make here. I’m not about to knock any user for their choices, as I’ve no doubt my choices in life would make many sneer.

However, I would be interested to know how many people have bought into Mind2, but that’s probably private data. Perhaps to post a poll, then we can all see how popular the idea is.

Well we can take a guess on how many People probably bought one, on the Mind2 Discord Server are about 300 users (rounded) and they did not sell out the 500 Devices Batch, so it has to be somewhere between 200-300 Devices. That’s my guess could also be more but I doubt that at least for now most buyers are also more likely on the Mind2 Discord just to get updates and ask questions.
