I hope the Backcover of the C2-Unit is made of plastic and not glass, can someone confirm it?

Plastic. Not a great quality. Holes are not aligned and a bit small. Joining edge is rough but note that I’m sensitive about that. So I softened the edge with a knife. I also cut the plastic between top two cameras and flash so that it’s light doesn’t spill directly into the lens.

No, i meant the Back-Body of the C2 itself (like written Backcover of the C2-Unit), not the bumper.

Hopefully my C2 does not need a reflash, but it hasn’t arrived yet, so I don’t if it will need a reflash. But meeting the community alone is a good reason to show up.

Hopefully it will arrive before the MeetUp. So you can reflash it, if things goes bad (like in my case)

I also happen to be in Berlin on this day. Actually, I’m here for a few days because of a developer conference. My C2 runs perfectly (except for the known problems). But I’m happy to come anyway. Oh. I would also need a replacement battery for the C1.

I’m pretty sure every JC owner needs a new battery, including myself. so please @Jolla put them on sale, if you have them. Or at least give us a link where we can get them.
My own JC is still at (almost) mint condition and I am using it daily. I just need a new battery.

As far as I remember, there was a battery for HTC phones, which was the same (or almost) the same.

EDIT: I took my J1 from the darkest corner of the old phones cabinet. The battery is HTC Model B0PA2100 (https://www.amazon.de/vhbw-2100mAh-Smartphone-35H00211-00M-V-B0PA2100/dp/B00QGJ67QA). And the original Batteries of my J1/JC will have to be thrown away since they are swollen…

I would be interested in getting/buying/exchanging a J1/JC battery, but I won´t be able to join the meeting in Berlin. Munich is far away… :frowning:
@Jolla: any chance that the batteries can be bought?

On Monday, I tried to wake up my Jolla 1. However, it pretends to be completly dead. I am not sure whether this due to the battery because the battery is not swollen. Maybe I should take my J1 to the support day :wink:

I am updating my JC right now without battery an hanging only on the charger…J1 is the next in line.
