Jolla C2 Community Phone deliveries

“Patience is a virtue”?

I really feel for them but as I’ve suggested many times before, if they updated their web page “News” they’d avoid so much speculation and traffic here.

Got my phone today. I’m writing this with C2 and looking good so far. :slightly_smiling_face:

Once I’ve sent the device for repair and confirmed it on zendesk my ticket was closed by Jolla. I created a follow up and awaiting replay

C2 delivered today! That was faster than expected. Thanks for the surprise.

I’m slightly doubtful of that. They have posted updates here on the forums in several ways that are discoverable and people have on many occasion not taken the time to search first before asking questions. What makes you think they would go out of there way to check a medium outside the discussion (news on their site) first?

Well something had an effect. If you go to that page it no longer has the address jolla.com/news.

It has the url of jolla.com/press

As to discoverable, I’m an old man going slowly blind. That seemed like the easiest place.

Late to the party but I got my C2 yesterday! It came with around 64% charge. Basic setup done, will continue playing with it after catching some sleep. Kudos to the Jolla team

Supposedly my phone shipped on 21st November, but it’s not here yet. I thought I’d try tracking the package. But no. The Jolla shop won’t give a link to tracking, only a QR code - which Jolla phones don’t support. But I managed to decode the thing anyway and get to a URL. Which is just a link to the Shop app - which doesn’t run on Jolla phone. Absolutely ludicrous. Is there any way to track my package that doesn’t involve going out and buying an Android phone specifically for that purpose? Do you people not even use your own products? How can I get to a web based tracking for my package?

Strange, cause in my case both times (I am one of the unlucky ones with C2), I received a Posti tracking number with a link in the e-mail to the packet tracking. No QR code.

Glad you received yours :+1:, hope you will enjoy it.

Received mine a few weeks ago but unfortunately it’s unusable in its current state,. To slow, lags a lot, even native apps  and no Android apps Bluetooth support to manage devices like smartwatch, vacuum, lighting… That’s a must have feature now.

Huh? You open the camera, point it to the code and a button appears to open the link.

Not on my Jolla phone. Never has done.

Not on my Jolla phone. Never has done.

Have you activated the “Use QR code recognition” item in the camera app settings?

Not to mention that there is CoreReader app which understands many different kind of barcodes, can scan pictures from the gallery etc.

You mean the original one? That makes sense, because the feature was added in the first update past the original Jolla phone’s final update, four years ago in 4.0.1. In that case, it also makes sense that the websites aren’t working properly, because the phone was last updated four years ago.

Finally my C2 delivered today. Charged to 73%. I will testing. Thanks Jolla team
