Jolla C2 Community Phone deliveries

I was on the XA2, now on my reflashed C2 (thanks, guys!).

The Self-Check settings can’t be enabled. The settings per app seem OK, but Signature Spoofing Checker says disabled. Installing and running apps seems OK, though.

I and a couple of others have the same problem.
(Installing microG on Sailfish OS - #73 by matti.tujula)

I finally got mine. Followed the pinned instructions (phone was 47%, charged till 80% and kept plugged).
All went fine and updated to .21 version. Hopefully it’s all good and no issues arise later on.

My order is in Lithuania since 2/11 and no notifications about a change. I can wait. But waiting is much easier if we know how, why and when.

It is the way of Posti. Nothing is fast, cheap or reliable for customers. As soon as the package is off of Posti’s hands, the rest of the delivery should be reasonably fast.

Sorry, misunderstanding. ‘Fast’ is not my focus. It takes as long as it needs. I would like to understand the procedure better that’s all. I wait and hope for the best.

I sent my phone back to Tampere for reflash, a week ago. It took overnight to reach Finland, and then it has been ‘sorted’ at Posti for 5 days. Now it’s available for jollyboys to pick up somewhere.
So Posti really is the delay here.

Mine seem to be delivered today, like you figured out correctly (Magic 5 Days waiting time with no updates between Lithuania and Radefeld).

Just received my box and put the phone to charge!

First impression:

  • I’m not shocked by the size, I was expecting a tablet but it’s not much bigger than other phones I have owned before (ZenFone 6, Xiaomi Mi10, to mention some).

-The device seems well made, must admit in some photos it looked cheap, I was expecting to laugh about the camera lenses but they seem of reasonable size for the claimed resolution.

-The colour matching between the body and buttons is quite bad, the body is silver the other bits are more like a tinted finish, not a problem just not to my liking (assume chrome plating or PVD).

-Back cover I repeat what I posted before, I don’t get why is not all Matt and there’s a bit of shiny finish next to camera module, does it matter? No, does it trigger my OCD? Yes.

  • The cover I received is not as bad as I expected reading some of the other comments, yeah it’s cheap but I can’t imagine Reeder can get people like Spigen to produce such a small number of covers for their specific dimensions.

Next step: try to set it up and write up feedback on the other thread.
