I’ve been trying with no success too, I was going to give a go to nikgapps, but I’m quite afraid to go too deep into trying things as we don’t have a factory reset in case things to “belly up”…
Does microG not work? Or do you really need Google’s Play Services?

With microg Toogoodtogo still complains about missing play services and i fear that bank austria won’t work without them. I tried to follow this guide Installing microG on Sailfish OS but i couldn’t find these settings for spoofing of the signature for specific apps

Jolla have stopped shipping any more C2s after all the problems with the first batch (at least 65 C2s were bricked during the initial setup process and almost certainly all of these need to be returned to Jolla for repair/reflashing).
I’m sure they’ll start shipping again when they have identified and resolved these problems, but note that there is currently no communication from Jolla as to when this might be.

It seems very strange that there is no tools to flash your own phone at home.

MicroG installation on C2 was a bit tricky, more difficult than on the Xperia’s. I believe it’s due to the never Android subsystem version. I noticed that you need the latest version of it an UnifiedNlp from F-Droid, making sure you have the MircoG repo enabled. I otherwise followed @flypic - Jolla’s great instruction.

What do you mean with “UnifiedNLP” … Are you so kind to write a small “HowTo” for the microgapps on C2? … I have them installed, but whether I can check or uncheck the option boxes, nor dies any Android app recognizes the installed gapps …

Minus the ones that were returned for a refund instead of replacement/fixing. These could be available for re-sell after a fix.

I ordered C2 but without case and screen protector. Is Jolla C2 the same (with size) as another Redeem phone? Can we use for C2 another case and screen protector or C2 is unique with size?
Not ideal - corners are covered. Not for you, who are picky. But functional.

Jolla C2 delivery update
We do want to continue the C2 shipments just like each and everybody over here, so some out-of-box thinking we want to share Poll: Continue Jolla C2 shipments
Please vote your preference the soonest, based on your votes we decide how to proceed asap!

My phone should have arrived on Monday but no DHL delivery person showed up. So on Tuesday morning I checked the track and trace again and was in complete shock when I read that I had refused the package and the phone was being send back to Jolla. I did what? When? According to the track and trace the phone was on it’s way at 21:41 and I refused the package at 23:06. Since when does DHL deliver package so late at night? They don’t of course, it’s a rather obvious lie. All my attempts to get DHL to still deliver the package to me have failed, they refuse to help and say I should contact the sender. Very annoying, I don’t have the phone and I have to bother Jolla because DHL completely sucks.
Always take a positive out of a negative.
If it’s going back at least it will be re-blown and you’ll have the new updated OS on it!
I sometimes get this with a local delivery agency when they can’t cope with all the packages. Usually it comes the next day, but their return ‘to the base’ always generates that annoying status… DHL should be better at this though.
