TLDR: The phone feels slow. Running tests to determine how much slower than the android version. Just for curiosity!
As I have used my C2 a bit now it kinda feels slow. Of course this is expected as the hardware isn’t even near anything exceptional. But as a curiosity I thought I’d run some benchmarks. First the easy ones in AppSupport Android and then later if I can think any in Sailfish native.
Mostly as time moves on and updates are applied it is interesting to see if anything changes.
Geekbench. I ran the latest version and compared to a run made on Android native version I found in geekbench database.
In terms of Battery-Usage the Jolla C2 performs for me like this:
All Apps closed, Android-App support off and Flightmode on ~0.22%/h
All Apps closed, Android-App support on and Flightmode on ~0.64%/h
Apps open, Android-App support off, WLAN and Mobile Data on ~1.3%/h
Apps open, Android-App support off, WLAN, BT and Mobile Data on, Streaming Music with Jolla Mediaplayer to BT-In-Ears ~3.5%/h
Measured with SysMon.
On my typical usage the Battery lasts ~2 Days (100% - 10%).
Yes as I stated in the post that these are in the appsupport only. I have to have a look for some terminal cpu benchmarks which could be easily ran on sailfish native. Would be interesting to see how AppSupport affects the perfomance.
Yes, seems to be model-specific or they use a weird battery-calibration algorythm. I am happy with the 2 days battery running under my daily heavy usage.
