I don’t remember when I last used it, but today it has not been working for me on Sailfish.

Thanks. Just something weird for me then. Still doesn’t work when I try.
Usually works for me (Telia, FI). It does seem to get stuck somehow quite often though, the authentication dialog never appears on the phone. It is always fixed by a reboot, perhsps also via restarting the ofono service (‘systemctl restart ofono’ as root). I also have had partial success momentarily disabling the SIM and/or triggering flight mode
