Internet connection lost after logon to phone

DESCRIPTION:

After I logon to my Jolla C2 phone, it lost its internet connection and it does not seem to be able to recover smoothly.Sometimes it helps te restart the network subsystem from system settings, but that does not always fix the connection.Does anyone experience the same? Please describe what is not working →

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Lock screen

  2. logon again

  3. check internet connection via browser (default btowser) by browsing to a site. Or start app like Whatsapp or Whisperfish and try to send a message

EXPECTED RESULT:

Internet connection should always be available. Either via sim or via Wifi

ACTUAL RESULT:

It takes sometimes long before the phone connects to internet, but sometimes it does work. The overall experience gives you the feel that it does not work well in most cases and is not reliable

Sometimes resetting the networks subsystem recovers the internet connection

Bug report template not filled out, moving to “Get Started“.

It lacks some details. Especialy how did you test the internet.

I have updated the ticket.

In step 3 there should not be the OR. Native apps (Whisperfish in your current text) and AAS (Whatsapp) have different access to the internet.
