I’ve been trying to get in touch with Jolla for many weeks now, but so far nothing.
I fully paid my Batch 1 order (#19804, pre-paid order #5905) in April, but still nothing shipped and no update. Since the official emails said that all Batch 1 were shipped weeks ago there must have been some error.
How can I get in touch with them to get an update? I get no reply via email.
@nephros well, I have read the post you refer to and I’ve not found another post about this that helps me forward. Perhaps I’m bad at searching, but then some help with referring to any post that actually helps would be much appreciated.
@hattu thank you for trying to help me forward. The challenge is that I’m quite certain that I did send @jolla a PM, but that I did not recieve any reply. However now when I checked my PMs I can’t find it, and I’m also not able to send them a new one, since the Forum states that that user has disabled PMs entierly…
I wonder if the widely available information that Jolla staff is hopelessly overwhelmed with user requests of this nature, paired with the smart “advice” to cause even more load (by spamming that account’s inbox, which triggers another email, which needs to then be somehow correlated with any number of original emails) caused them to disable that functionality…
The gist is: have patience, they are working their asses off, you will receive a reply eventually.
Generating more load on them by writing more mails, Forum PMs, or creating tickets makes the situation worse for yourself, for them, and for everybody else.
Apparently I had used a different email address for the pre-order. However, since that had since been corrected I could still see both orders in my account. Not sure why a PM to them was needed, but there you go! Guess there is some external system that needs to be updated manually or so…
Anyhow: I understand that Jolla are overwhelmed, but when you still don’t get any information a months after your delivery (according to Jolla) should have sent it’s quite naturally to try other ways to get in touch with them.
I will continue to promote Jolla and I hope many others will as well - and with that I hope their next launch will be even more successful! With that said: it is very clear that they will need a much better system and communication strategy for that.
