As the title says - is there a way to disable the shutter sound of the camera?
A) Don’t creep-photograph people.
B) I have never heard it i think - probably because i have ringtone volume off basically always. Is that not enough?

Things can be so simple 
To my experience the sound slows down the camera reaction.
If you can demonstrate that, please file bug report.
Looks like it maybe used to, but doesn’t anymore (since quite some time):

All the more reason to have the ringtone off - and this be a non-issue.
Then wife becomes the issue when I don’t answer the phone. Which is (much) worse than startling the deer and thus why it’s kept on.
I’m also from time to time annoyed by the shutter sound when taking pictures in some occasions. Therefore Advanced Camera app is nice, it’s silent. Seriously, a mute button could be placed in the sailfish camera (default) app interface.
