How do I sync contacts "saved to phone" via CardDAV?

I recently noticed that some contacts on my XA2 with Sailfish 4.4 have been “saved to phone” rather than the CardDAV server that hosts my contact list. How can I change a locally stored contact to use CardDAV?

From the Contacts or people apps, you can’t once the contact has been created.
The simplest way seems to export the contact in vcf format and import it on your server from a computer.

This is something that should be added to the phone, also moving from one synced Adress book to another. In the end its a feature request (that I’m up to write out).
