How do I copy-paste a log file?

I want to copy paste the contents of
/var/log/salfishos-chum.log to github
as chum isn’t working for me at the moment.

How does one do that?

If you have developer mode enabled, you can just scp or WinSCP it to your computer.

Use file browser editor, tap and hold.

Maybe it’s possible to transfer it in USB Mass Storage mode.

I can’t reach /var/log on the file browser editor.
There’s only /var/lib

Look again, there should be if you didn’t some howe delete it.
How did you find /var/log/salfishos-chum.log in the first place?

No, it’s simply not there in the file browser.
I do find it in the terminal app.

From where did you install File Browser? Latest one from OpenRepos?

No, it’s the default one or I downloaded it from the Jolla store.

OK, uninstall and install from OpenRepos. The one in Jolla store is a bit crippled.
