Hi there,

The Day1 is approaching fast and we’re working day’n’night to get the devices ready for all those coming to pick up their new Jolla Phone in the Day1 celebration event :partying_face:

Sailfish OS 5.2 release candidate (RC 5.2.0.11) created on Fri-Sat night was concluded the factory flashing SW image to go with and started the final preparations: flashing the units with the fresh SW image, testing and verifying each unit, and finally packing those to shiny new Jolla sales packs.

Yes, exactlyyyyy, this was what I was really afraid of inside, in case the devices had technical issues. Thankfully, they are being tried and tested before being sent, yuppiii :blush: :partying_face:

I believe the biggest highlight (aside from Jolla Phone support) will be an update to the browser engine to ESR 115

Every single device getting its final polishing in a legendary place by the masters themselves. That’s something you can really be proud of for having supported it. Can’t wait to hold it in my hands! :heart_eyes:

Yes, of course—they can be really proud! To have the Jolla C2 as my first Jolla device was something special, but this will be awesome! I know this kind of power-session from the company where I work. I hope they have enough good coffee.

Thank you Jolla, super cool update! I love to see real end products passing the tests, everything start to feel real now. Amazing to think that some of those beautiful phones could be in my hands next week. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: (hopefully not the one that failed)

It’s a huge thing that these are assembled in Europe, for me even more so because for me they are assembled domestically :heart_with_arrow::flexed_biceps:
