Mine is the opposite. Only GPS locationing works. Network based location does not work - even I have mapped the BeaconDB using the stumblefish.

Did you actually go outside?

Yes

I live in a suburby area, so no trees or buildings blocking either

Disable location.
Enable location.

Test with gpsinfo program . Outside
See if you get any satellites .

If GPS has had no fix foreewer it takes loong time even outside to load all the data for the first fix. Should look like this.
Gps info can be found from jolla store

I have seen blank sat view with sony 10II with sfsos and once with jp2026 .
In all cases position on /off/ on corrected it.

Have you checked beaconDB map if there are any data in the beaconDB for the area you live? You can help collect the data with Stumblefish app.

Thank you both, will try the fix tomorrow.

And thank you for Stumblefish, did not know about it. Will for sure map my area

Everything magically works after a restart lol

The initial lock took a little longer than i thought. Plus my area is not mapped on beacondb

Otherwise, OSM and Pure Maps from Chum, loaded as much offline maps, set to high precision, gave a restart and it was good to go!

Thank you all. ill close this thread asap

Yes, the first lock will take longer. if there is no beaconDB data in the area (you can wait or move to area with data to get the lock). If you (or someone else) collects and sends local data using Stumblefish, the lock will be almost instantaneous in the future.

@muratilyas have u now managed to get location even indoors?

You need to have at least some satellites indoors to make that work.

@Pikku-Y GPS lock indoors is really touch and go. Usually 30 satellites in view, but not enough in use
