It requires Google Play Services so I tried MicroG using these instructions (thank you, @sledges). Unfortunately, nothing changes afterwards - Meet flickers and then disappears, just like before MicroG. Restarting doesn’t help either. Has anyone been able to start Meet on Sailfish in any manner?

Yes, but you need a version from 2020, can’t remember exactly which one was the latest still working. I have bisected many versions using the APK mirror site.

Google Meet. IIRC, it was something from summer 2020. Version 30 something?
Thank you very much for the tip. I’ll definitely make the search when I have the time. However, it does seem to me MicroG is supposed to also handle the latest version. I’m going to report them a bug.
Did anything ever progress here? Current GM displays «Failed to load accounts» on latest MicroG.
