Gallery video player forget paused time

REGRESSION: (compared to previous public release: Yes, No, ?): Not sure from 3.X

DESCRIPTION:

When you’re watching a video with gallery player, switch app (pause or not), when you came back to gallery, video starts at 0:00

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Launch a video
  2. Pause/Switch app
  3. Go back to gallery
  4. Start video again

EXPECTED RESULT:

Start paused time

ACTUAL RESULT:

Start from beginning

Seems so. But the behaviour seems intentional to me (although not entirely optimal).

Thanks. Why do you think it’s intentional ? That’s just stupid imo, you can’t even send an SMS without struggling to find the time.

My XA2 with 3.4.0.24 behaves that way too.

My XA2 with 3.2.1.20 behaves as one would expect.
paused: keeping the position
running: auto-continue at same position
