Gallery Share not giving any options for pictures or videos

BUILD ID = OS VERSION (Settings > About product): latest build 3.4.0.24
HARDWARE (Jolla1, Tablet, XA2,…): Sony Xperia 10 Plus Dual SIM
UI LANGUAGE: English
REGRESSION: (compared to previous public release: Yes, No, ?): Yes

DESCRIPTION:

Unable to share pictures/videos no matter where stored ie in phone memory or sd card.

PRECONDITIONS:

Switch on bluetooth

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Open gallery
  2. Select Photos or Videos etc
  3. Select an item to share
  4. Select the share icon
  5. Nothing appears to share a video or picture

EXPECTED RESULT:

Should show bluetooth, sms etc for options to share or send to another device etc.

ACTUAL RESULT:

Just see my background faded out but no options to share with

Uninstall 3rd party sharing plugins, or update it to latest version supporting your os version

Thanks for the quick reply. Just need to figure out where and what they might be don’t recall downloading any sharing plugins. I guess I could start with repositories in Storeman.

check ls /usr/share/nemo-transferengine/plugins/ for non-default ones

Problem solved - I also noticed my audio wasn’t switching to wired so rebooted and problem solved for both audio and sharing.

I’d guess it was QRCodeShow but removing that didn’t help.So I removed the plugin qr share. That solved it.
