DESCRIPTION:
Storage Card inserted into phone running 5.0.0.61. Card reported as requiring formatting. Details to format as luks encrypted card entered. Formatting fails with message ‘Could not format Memory card’
PRECONDITIONS:
This follows my separate report about “Storage won’t show inserted 256Gb ext4 storage card”.
May result from this formatting failure. (Attempted to use a further card and format it in Sailfish device)
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1.Insert SDCard
2.Attempt to format as luks with encryption.
3. Formatting starts then reports Could not format.
EXPECTED RESULTS:
Card to be successfully formatted
ACTUAL RESULTS:
"Could not format memory card”.
