Has anyone tried flashing the Xperia 10 V beta for the XQ-DC54 on the XQ-DC72 device? On the surface this is basically the 8GB version of the Xperia 10 V but you never know what it’s like below the water.

no need to create new thread for this, search first…
Not using it as a daily driver yet, but I was able to install onto a XQ-DC72 successfully. Needed to edit the flash-config.sh in the installer to accept XQ-DC72 as a VALID_PRODUCTS, and update the MD5s to allow that install to proceed (can provide literal steps, if helpful)
For anyone that’s interested, in Australia, it seems that VoLTE doesn’t work with Telstra (tried via Boost), but does seem to work with Optus

Same process as 10 IV, documented here.
So somewhat predictably having had no response from Jolla to my question of support for the Xperia 10 iv for the last three weeks or so (yes, I know, they’re very busy) I decided to have a go at getting SFOS on my Android 14 Sony Xperia 10 iv (dual sim variant) myself using help from this forum.
Firstly, I realised this was indeed possible thanks to @oliviosu above.
I used the XQ-CC54 image from the Jolla shop here:
and standard Jolla instructions for the Xperia 10 iv here:
