Fingerterm eats output

DESCRIPTION: console output is not properly displayed.

PRECONDITIONS:

open fingerterm

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. produce some large output
  2. turn display to change orientation (optional)
  3. let the keyboard disappear

EXPECTED RESULT:

every output should be visible

ACTUAL RESULT:

some output is overwritten

i think you know this problem since a long time…

Yep, output gets mangled, this problem has been around for a long time.

one of a few ongoing issues with Fingerterm, but I have noticed updates, so happy that it’s being worked on, and we also have Literm as a generally superior option, (but with a bit of an issue with cursor placement).

Anyone know of a way to make Literm the system default?
