File manager cannot access people

HARDWARE (XA2, Xperia 10…): 10 II (dual sim, with one sim installed)
UI LANGUAGE: English

DESCRIPTION:

Because of problems with the tracker, a new image did not show up in the gallery. So I found the image in the file manager and tried to share the image as MMS, but when I tried to select the receiver, I got the message No people.

PRECONDITIONS:

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Select file in file manager.
  2. Select share.
  3. Select MMS.
  4. Tab (+) to select receiver, or enter part of receiver name to get list of people.

EXPECTED RESULT:

List of people shown

ACTUAL RESULT:

Message No people.

Did you open the People app, give the permissions and check the contacts?

Yes, the People app works, and contains all my contacts, and share from the Gallery app works, but not share from the File manager.
