File Browser does not show file information on Gemini PDA

DESCRIPTION:

File Browser (from Jolla Store) did not show file information when select

PRECONDITIONS:

File Browser from Jolla Store

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Start File Browser
  2. Change to $HOME/Pictures/Default
  3. Select file All_green.jpg

EXPECTED RESULT:

File information should be shown

ACTUAL RESULT:

Empty page with working cycle is shown (never finish).

Which version of File Browser are you running? You can find the version number on the settings page; swipe right two times from the directory view.

Does this happen for all files or is there any specific file/kind of files? If so, please attach the/a problematic file. Please try and select multiple files, then tap the “info” icon to see if the info page for multiple file opens correctly.

Can you run the app in the terminal and check the output for anything unusual? (Or just post the output here; remove any personal info before.)

Also: did you install any GNU tools after the upgrade to Koli? Jolla is replacing more and more GNU tools with inferior busybox drop-ins. We already had problems once because of this, as the file size calculation on the file info page relies on system utilities…

Update to version harbour-file-browser-2.4.3-1.armv7hl fix my problem on Gemini PDA ;-).
Many thanks.
On Tablet the same version have an error playing mp4 videos (see Cannot play mp4 videos on Tablet).
