Note that audio should still work with android apps over Bluetooth. Can’t remember if this is the case with XV as it is still considered beta release tho

Another thing: does anybody have an idea how to make the battery indicator update? Currently it only updates when the phone is booted up, but then it stays unchanged forever (well, until the battery is dead I guess).

Sorry for asking these questions… I only started trying Sailfish OS a month ago, so I’m missing a lot of historical knowledge, and to be honest finding complete and up-to-date information is very difficult.
For instance the installation manual (on the Jolla Shop) doesn’t mention these v4b blobs, it only says to install the v3a blobs, and from a nonexisting link no less!
Jolla started building their support on v3a and that is why they officially tell you to use it. Community has tested newer versions and found that they fix some issues, but break others, so Jolla haven’t updated that part of the official guide until Sony publishes blobs with no or at least way less bugs..
Sony changed the (sub)domain they deliver ODP stuff earlier this summer.
Instead of https://developer.sony.com you have to go to https://opendevices.sony.net but Jolla haven’t updated their guides (they are busy with sending out the new phones).
Blobs should be available at https://opendevices.sony.net/aosp-on-xperia-open-devices/downloads/software-binaries
