God’s sake…finally :heart::heart::heart:

How cool, thanks for sharing

Status LED does not work on Xperia 10 V? It is one of important feature what i love on my old Jolla phone…
No need to touch phone just visually check if:
Green is blinking i know that there is new IM message, blinking Blue = there is new mail, blinking Red = there is missed call…
i had customized 20hybris-led.ini for dimmed colors, but tried also full color like 0000ff, but LED is just off.

any tips?

Sorry. No LED in X10 V. An option is to use part of the screen but someone has to do it. Another option is Flash LED.

LED is there, but you think that there is no way how to control LED on Xperia X V by the software, or just not implemented yet?
i did not used android so i don’t even know if LED indicating charging or so… but while flashing i have seen the blue light and in docs is written that it could be green too

edit: i was fooled  just looking in daylight on the device and yes there is no LED the blue light was on the screen

Great! I have been refreshing the page daily. Yesterday I gave up so as it happens today there’s an update! Should have stopped checking earlier :stuck_out_tongue:

Actually AFAIK there really is NO LED in Xperia 10 V. The blue and green (and maybe even red) light that looks like an led is in fact just part of the screen IIRC.

Yeah. Great news. Now Jolla can start on Monday and try to adapt that into a new SFOS 5 image and prepare the licensing… Hopefully that is on their agenda and we may see an official image before 2025. I’d be really happy!

I had to use X10V before C2. Not once I saw LED in Andy.

Missing notification LED is one thing, but they removed the extra camera button, which I cannot understand. This was one of the important reasons for me to use Sony smartphones, as it made them unique. Finally even Apple added this feature to their inferior iPhones.

I read between these lines that Raine already knew about the upcoming news on the Sony Front

… and as a leading media company Sony really knows how to hold the tension high. At least they didn’t spoiler what we can expect like

  1. battery level updates
  2. camera(s)
  3. more robust connectivity
  4. fingerprint sensor
  5. magnetic lid sensor

Anything I missed?

Working flashlight aka torch

Edit: and screen brightness is still crippled and way below if what the hardware is capable to deliver

I tested the X10V binaries already, and while battery percentage now updates, other things need more work before they can function. For example; modem, WLAN and Bluetooth don’t currently seem to work at all, and camera needs to be re-enabled anyway.

So, stay tuned for updates
