I’ve been running Sailfish OS for a while now and I’m looking to give my phone a bit of a refresh — mainly in terms of visuals. It feels like most of the icon packs and themes I used to see recommended are either outdated or hard to find now.
For those of you still actively customizing your devices in 2025:
Which icon packs or themes are you using right now?
Are there any newer ones that still feel “native” to Sailfish’s style rather than Android ports?
Any tips for installing or tweaking them (especially for people who aren’t super into modding)?
Would love to see screenshots if anyone’s willing to share their setups — I’m curious how people are making Sailfish look modern without losing its unique feel.
Those Harmattan icons are truly beautifull and timeless! Didn’t knew this existed for Sailfish. Just installed them. Does anyone have the original install files for the Evolve Plus icon theme? It was pulled from OpenRepos.
Isn’t it possible to install manually from an rpm/any package?
Only problem is that the system isn’t aware, so, no uninstall, no updates…
But you can extract the content of it, at least do throw an eye on the icons.
(e.g. in a PC terminal with Midnight Commander, just hit enter on the rpm)

By “install manually”, I meant the next “manually” stage: extract, copy paste, rename. big bad tinkering.
Hence a mess with uninstall, update… (I guess)

The details you can check in rpn package. It is not encrypted. I do not understand what is your problem or is there any at all?
