can someone confirm how I can export my SFOS whatspp chats onto an android device?

I can not confirm, but i would try restoring from Google Drive backup.
A few months ago, it was successful for me when I transferred the full Whatsapp folder, containing all the data (chats, images, videos, etc) from my old Xperia 10 Plus to the new Xperia 10 iii, both on Sailfish OS X (if I remember, after the install of Whatsapp but before the first use of of it). So I think this procedure should also work on a Android device. I see also on my device that there is the possibility to transfer the chats with the WiFi, but I didn’t try it.
