Not sure if I did anything to it and certainly didn’t do it on my 10 iii. But it could have inherited this from the XA2 backup. I kinda need it fixing today.
Manual updating works fine.
Of course you checked your account update settings?

Nope, I was looking under the email settings where such things should be.

Just to clarify for others who may find this:
There’s Settings->Apps->Email which configures the email app itself.
And there’s Settings->Accounts->“Email-Accountname”, which is where authentication and sync schedule are configured per-account.
