DI FM app won't start

REPRODUCIBILITY:
OS VERSION: 4.5
HARDWARE: Xperian 10 III
UI LANGUAGE: English
REGRESSION: No

DESCRIPTION:

Unable to open DI FM app

PRECONDITIONS:

Install app and try and open

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Installed DI FM app
  2. Tried to open

EXPECTED RESULT:

App should open

ACTUAL RESULT:

When trying to open the app it will check to ensure Android App Support is running which it is then open the app as a notification popped up to inform what it was doing.

So I tried to restart the mobiel, restart Android app support, restart the home screen but none of these methods worked.

But I can as a workaround use via the web but it is not the same.

I am sure this hasn’t been an issue in the past only of recent maybe since the last 4.5 update.

So, if I understand correctly, when Android App Support is stopped, starting this app triggers the popup, but does not launch the app later, correct?

Does AAS appear as running after that? (I.e. does the start of AAS succeed?)

How about if AAS is already running? Does launching the app work then?

So I got a notification that it was ensuring that it was running prior to opening the app.

But I check this was running so not sure why it won’t open now.

Is it the same for other android apps? Have you looked at your storage space? If its too full, It wont open
