I’m using Windows 10, and Sailfish OS 4.6 on a Sony Experia 10 III
I’ve connected the device via USB, MTP mode to a (Surface book) laptop with Windows 10.
Sailfish reports as the device is connected through MTP, but it’s not visible in Windows explorer. When the MTP mode is activated, I hear a sound in Windows.
Different cable, reboot (as well as laptop as phone) didn’t work.
There are too many of Win10 versions and some of them has issues with USB or/and MTP. Please, use WinSCP and Developer Mode instead.
It seems to be fixed, after thoroughly cleaning the USB C port of the device and the cable.
