The backspace button in the keyboard deletes one letter at a time. Please provide option to delete entire word at once. In android, long pressing backspace button keeps deleting word by word.

Long tap on a word selects the entire word, then backspace deletes it or beginning to type something overwrites it. Using a stylus is helpful if fingertip is not enough precice (finger too thick) to hit a word.
edit: very long tap selects the whole line, whole sentence (in steps).
Yes, but when you’re holding the device in one hand, it’s easier to hold backspace. It just takes ages to backspace a short text. I suppose as long as the ‘top speed’ of backspacing is increased, that would be sufficient.
