Degraded battery life on XA2 after upgrade to 4.3.0.12

DESCRIPTION:

Starting from update to 4.3.0.12, battery life became significantly worse with battery draining multiple times faster than before.

It also coincides with the system not being able to connect to Jolla store giving error like

Problem with Store: General communication problem with store server.
Problems with connecting to Jolla store after update to 4.3.0.12 on Xperia XA2

Did you come to 4.3 by upgrading or reflash?
Did you try to reflash since you have this issue?

Upgraded. I think I know what’s going on. Described it in this thread.

I’m checking now to see if battery life will improve.

Yep, switching to IPv6 from dual stack solved this. It was just dropping and reconnecting mobile network all the time resulting in battery drain.
