CPR Metronome feedback

Hey everyone,
After years (seriously :face_with_peeking_eye:) I finally got over the “empty page” syndrome and built an initial version of a CPR metronome (inspired by the SFOS metronome and Jolla stopwatch apps), while I obviously hope you will never need such a thing it can save lives.

I hope to publish to github/openrepos/harbour in the not-too-distant-future™.

In the mean time I wanted to ask several things:

  1. Are there more BLS/ALS providers in the crowd who would like more features to help them or shoud I just stick to bystander?
  2. I think giving information about proper CPR is important but the metronome itself should just be a simple fast app, should CPR/firstaid information be in a companion app or pulldown that stops the metronome or just not at all…

Once I publish to the various platforms I will update here and I will use this topic as the feedback topic like with gPodder.

I work in the medical field and have to have my BLS. Since time is of the essence with CPR, I think it’s best for it to be a standalone app. Fast and steady compressions are vital. But maybe you could include reminders or something for finding an AED, or calling a given country’s emergency services?

This is a very initial version, I’m working on renaming everything at the moment because I forgot that it has to be harbour-, it may actually be easier to just create a new project named properly :man_facepalming:

The two orange areas are tappable and turn green when that happens, the call help area does not bring up the phone though because that would interrupt the metronome and the hope/assumption is you have someone else do this for you.

Added github and openrepos, not sure if I should add it to harbour too at this point.

Version 0.2 was recently released (openrepos) it just pins the layout to portrait only as I observed that the rotation animation caused metronome hickups.
