Could not make calls after 4.5 update

REPRODUCIBILITY: 0% (unknown)
OSVERSION: 4.5.0.16
HARDWARE: Sony Xperia 10 II - Dual SIM - xqau52 - xqau52 - 1.0.0.10 - aarch64
UI LANGUAGE: Deutsch (user: de_DE, os: de_DE.utf8)
REGRESSION: yes (since: 4.4)

DESCRIPTION:

Could not make calls after 4.5.0.16 update until full reboot (vol+pwr up for 10 secs)

PRECONDITIONS:

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Install 4.5.
  2. Click any number in the phonebook
  3. reboot normally
  4. same behavior
  5. force reboot with vol up + power for 10 seconds until 3 vibrations
    6- works

EXPECTED RESULTS:

Calling ui opens even without force reboot

ACTUAL RESULTS:

Nothing happens, no error, just no reaction unti forced reboot.
(even reboot does not seem to work for @philter )

Just to double check, so after the reboot the phone calls worked normally and you haven’t had issues to make calls?

No, calls work fine right now.

I have the same problem.
Emergency call works in the dialog box before entering the security password.
SMS works.
The force reboot solution proposed NOT solved.

I checked journalctl right now: I confirm i receive the same log:

I launched the call from gdbus script on the shell, and also from browser link with same result.

I swapped sim to slot 2 and viceversa, and tried also a different sim.

Wifi works fine, and also mobile connection.
4g voice call is not selected.

I ran zypper dup that removed only rockpool, and ran sfos upgrade veify and pos upgrade.

I assume you are sure, that you did the full reboot with holding vol up + power for a loong time?

Hello thigg, yes, I tried. Nothing solved until now

I ended up flashing again the Xperia 10 ii.
Now all works fine.

Had same problem, after upgrading from 4.4.0.72 to 4.5.0.16.

Solved by upgrading to 4.5.0.18.
