Copy-paste works only once, second fails

HARDWARE: Jolla Phone (2026) - jp2601 - jp2601 - 1.0.0.16 - aarch64
UI LANGUAGE: Suomi (user: fi_FI, os: fi_FI.utf8)

DESCRIPTION:

Copy paste crashes after first copy-paste actions. Second attempt copied text is not coming visible as paste option to keyboard.

PRECONDITIONS:

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Copy text and paste it via keyboard.
  2. Repeat same second time.

EXPECTED RESULTS:

Second, third etc. copy-paste actions via keyboard succeed.

ACTUAL RESULTS:

First copy-paste action via keyboard succeeds but second copied text not appearing for paste in keyboard. I have standard pre installed keyboard.

Hey, I think I spotted thia yesterday. I was multiple times trying to copypaste credentials frim bitsailor to spotify. Once at least I experienced that copypaste of username worked, but password didn’t give any paste option

Works fine for me. What exactly are you doing to reproduce this?

How do you observe the crash, and of what, or are you just saying random words?

is it a function of Bitsailor to remove passwords from the clipboard after x seconds?

Could be, but it was weird as it didn’t stick at all. In other login it again worked normally

I got this with Bitsailor copy-paste and also with pre installed browser sometimes.

EDIT: I tested with default browser more and could it be, that this copy function takes sometimes longer time and that might be the reason for ‘skipping’ copy function.(?)

If default browser starts to responds very slowly I recommend to close and reopen it.

Might be, but also not. There is a possibility to copy/paste within the same app. :wink:
