I would like to add to the second CLMA31 entry here:
When discussing the app grid sizes, perhaps you could include a pinch gesture that allows the user to zoom in/out on smaller or larger app grid tiles. I have seen something like this on the old Nokia N9, and I really like this feature!

There’s a patch named “Force Cover Size,” but it only allows you to choose between auto, only big, or only small, and it does not support pinch-to-zoom.
