As the title says - I can’t send any files from or to my new Jolla Phone 2026. Tried it with Xperia 10 III SFOS 5.1 and also an Android Xperia 5 IV.
On the other hand the phone connects to my Fairbuds, my VW media system and several devices that need AAS Bluetooth without problems, so Bluetooth is working at all (means no Hardware bug to my mind).
Any ideas or someone with similar problems?
Do you also have a problem with photos in the Gallery?
You can make other “unsupported” file types available using the OpenRepos improvement Bluetooth OBEX Filter off | OpenRepos.net — Community Repository System.

I also have the problem that I cant send files from my C2 to my JP.
It’s not the solution to this issue, but as a simple workaround Sailfish Connect makes it really easy to transfer files between Sailfish devices as well other devices (inc Android and Linux) running KDE Connect.
I actually installed it before I logged into my Jolla account as it lets me paste passwords from my PC clipboard
I managed once to send a file from my e/OS phone to J2, but ever since it fails.
I removed and re-initiated the pairing from both sides several times, but no success.
FWIW: When I check the bluetooth connection, the e/OS phone is shown as “Bluetooth Player” in SFOS.
