Can't make more than three posts in a row, regardless of time passed

I wanted to make another post in the Belgian Sailfish OS users thread, but because the last three posts happened to also have been made by me, I couldn’t make another post. I can edit a previous post to add what I wanted to say, but then people who had already read those posts won’t get notified about the extra info. And if it’s unrelated to those previous posts, it doesn’t make sense to edit-add it to them, either. I’ve seen some other people run into this problem as well. like @AL13N in the Health app thread.

Could this limit for consecutive posts be either:

  • increased,
  • modified to allow further posts after a reasonable cooldown period (1 day?),
  • or removed altogether?

It’s important because it hampers spreading information in slower-moving threads.

I’m pretty sure that if you edit the last post you made there, it will show as an updated post so others will appear as if there is a new post.

That’s exactly what I did, and it didn’t.

Oh sorry my mistake then, I know that I’ve edited a typo in a thread title in the past and it’s posted as a new post
