Fatal error: The packages are already all installed
I rebooted anyway, and tried Jolla Store again - still no sign of ‘Android AppSupport’
If I try to install and Android app such as F-Droid, the install fails after ~30 seconds with an error ‘Problem with installing F-Droid, Problem with store, could not install F-Droid’
What does “purchased free license” mean?
Android App Support is a paid feature.
IV and V are a bit different with being beta (and subscription in the future), but for the III it is very much a normal paid license.
Hmmm, odd.
You should first install AAS itself - from store.
Does Settings have an entry for it? (And there - is it running?)
Android apps will show up like any other app in the drawer.
Try install Aurora Store from the F-Droid and reboot the phone. After reboot all the icons should be in place. In the Aurora Store you will find all the apps which are on Google Play Store.
That was it - thanks. F-Droid now running and appearing in the grid
I will install Aurora Store, when I’ve got a few other Android apps up and running from F-Droid
Which they are doing now - thanks!
My next question will be about how to access and install apps from OpenRepos and / or Chum. I’ll do some searching, but any shortcuts or useful links would be very much appreciated
What if you are in the US and want to pay for App Support but can’t as that country is not in the pick list and you can’t hit pay until you pick a country. So that would mean no, not available. Correct.
I did that and at first the card I used was rejected, one of the loadable cards i use for internet use only, except it does not support international transactions. So i used my good card from my bank for this one transaction and it went through. Now I will wait a bit and then go to the store and see if it shows up as an app to download. i am hoping it will also allow me to update the os as I heard the new version, 4.4.0.68 and I have only 64 but the 68 has VOLTE beta built in. Right now my update software says i am all up to date but im not. So maybe I have to download and flash ?
Thanks, I’m so happy. It worked , so easy, I just went to the store after I bought the License and there was the AAP app so I installed it and then re-booted. Then my first download was for F-droid, it worked, then from inside F-Droid (as instructions recommend) I downloaded Aurora store, it worked, then from inside Aurora store I downloaded LinPhone (VOIP) app., it worked, So everything is working except calls over Volte.
So here is my new question, it seems the Sony Device to have right now is the Sony Experia 10 iii or the ii which I think is older but may be better, I dont know. But I have the Experia 10 Plus. If you look on your chart I don’t get the Volte beta, and there is no mention if I am going to get it soon, or sometime next year or maybe never.
So what would you do if you were me, just sit and wait for the update to come to me or go buy the 10 iii on ebay as a christmas present to my self and find a good home for my experia 10 plus.
