Can't get AppSupport app?

Hi, I recently dug out my old sailfish phone (xperia 10), but the AppSupport app is not showing in the Jolla store. Any help appreciated.

Maybe an issue with your Jolla Account. Have you purchased a licence for this device?

Thanks for reply. I bought the phone second hand, I had an account and was using phone with AppSupport/Android apps previously. When I dug it out again the other day I just created a new account. Is this why?

Yes.

You need an account with a paid license attached to it.

OK, thanks for prompt replies . It makes sense. I just thought because it let me create new account it would be OK. Cheers.

So if you use that account to purchase a license at Jolla, AppSupport will become available.

And the license is not bound to your account, but to account + phone. So you need another license for another phone, even if you use your old account.
